How To Create a New Equipment

Equipment items may be associated with the endpoints of circuits. Any given equipment may be associated with multiple circuits. Each equipment has a unique number associated with it.

Create a new blank Equipment:

1. Use the View | Equipment... menu item or press the Equipment button.
   
2. On the equipment form, use the File | New Equipment menu item or press the insert button.
   
3. Make entries into the fields then save by
• navigating to another record
• using the post button
• closing the form by pressing the exit button

Create a new Equipment by cloning an existing equipment:

1. Go to the source equipment by pressing the first button on the left side of the equipment form to display the equipment lookup dialog box which allows fast selection of an equipment.
2. Use the File | Clone Equipment menu item or press the Clone Equipment button.
   
3. Make changes to the equipment then save as above.
